Original Poster Designs

Just like the free desktop wallpaper design, the poster design is based on the well-known verse John 3:16 from the Bible:

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

I have included three separate translations of the verse at the base of the Poster (ESV, KJV & NIV) so that the pure message of the Gospel can be communicated without contention.

As can be seen, the design capitalises on a false-premise that some people hold; that if they wear a Crucifix around their neck and call themselves Christians; then they are (when they aren’t unless they receive Salvation from the LORD).

Don’t get me wrong—I’m not wanting to be some kind of negative campaigner who is shunning the good news of the Gospel message with judgemental concepts. However, sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind. The truth can hurt, but the aim of this design is to sway people who have embraced easy-believism that Christianity is all about receiving Salvation and the life-changing works that God does in their lives thereafter.

I have included two separate translations of the verse at the base of the Poster (ESV & KJV) so that the pure message of the Gospel can be communicated without contention.

The scripture at the base of the poster reads:

Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (John 3:3 ESV)

I will also be making this poster available as screen-savers for monitors and the iPhone soon.

The concept behind the illustration was based on this passage of the Bible:

Hebrews 13:2 Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it.

It was a fairly complex piece of design to produce, as it incorporated many elements including some 3D work and even feathers. I have shown two images below to show some of the detail:
