As can be seen, it ends “If you can read this message, you are more fortunate than 3 billion people in the world who cannot read it at all.”

Wow. This really made me think. Every time I complain and act ungratefully, I will try to remember that compared to millions around the world, I’m rich. I’ll remember the the very computer I am using to write this message is well out of the reach of countless millions─even the very electricity it uses.

I am thankful to my LORD Jesus for my life. Even in times of trouble, I am more fortunate than 3 billion others. We should all be thankful for this.

I designed four Christian Greeting Cards for Australian startup, 9Fruit. I created a greeting Card Design, as well as three others for their online collection. The design above is for “For a Special Graduate” Greeting Card // Buy this card on 9Fruit

Who are 9Fruit?

At 9fruit, we aim to create greeting cards and other products, which have a modern take on design and offer words of comfort, encouragement or humour based on God’s word.

‘9fruit’ refers to the nine visible attributes of a true Christian life – love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. More on the 9Fruit site.

This was a great design project to work on, and its great to see the cards for sale.

Our approach at RedisWhite is simple – We want to build a community of like-minded individuals who have a heart for God and are interesting in wearing and creating faithful and stylish apparel.

I was asked by Pastor Martyn Sullivan at St Luke’s Church, South Elmsall UK, to design a fair few logo design concepts for them—and the additional organisations that were affiliated with St Luke’s. These were The Family Centre, The Hope Centre, The Rainbow Nursery (and Rainbow Preschool), LifeTime Ltd, LiveLink and The LiveLink Shop.

Wonderful Grapevine Booklet by Bubble Design. Grapevine is an annual Christian Celebration that takes place over the August Bank Holiday period in Lincolnshire, here in the UK. The grapevine official site explains:

The church is on a Journey that brings influence and makes an impact for good within the nation. Something great happens when the church gathers together both locally as the body of Christ and nationally in Celebration, our Journey makes progress!

We believe that this Grapevine with its excellent programme for all ages and the ministry by our friends and guests, will be outstanding!

The actual celebration is very impressive, where Christians attend to worship God and hear great preaching—and non-Christians go to find out about true Christianity. Part of the success of this annual event is partly due to the great design of their promotional material, such as the Grapevine 2010 “The Journey” booklet design (Brochure) shown below.

This Grapevine booklet was produced by a UK design company named Bubble Design. It’s an absolutely fantastic design—and is every single year. The photos below are of the Grapevine 2010 booklet. Enjoy…
