Tweet the Bible

The Twitter account @TweetTheBible86, plans to tweet the entire Bible over the next 86 years!

The #TweetTheBible project was launched on Nov. 11 this year (2011) with Genesis 1:1: “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” In total, there will be 31,000 verses to tweet out to the Twitter-verse.

I think this is a great idea, although in my opinion, the return of Jesus is very, very close─so I doubt @TweetTheBible86 will make it 86 years. If they did 10 verses per day, they could tweet the bible in 8.6 years? Just a thought…

I think this is a great idea. I agree! It could take a very long time, never mind if Twitter is still around, the world may not be either!
